Zodiac signs

Have you heard the news about our zodiac signs? Astrological signs are figured by the position of the sun in relation to specific constellations on the date of a person's birth, however when the signs were determined based on these positions long ago, they weren't in the same places that they are today. Thank you earth for being wobbly in your rotation. And supposedly instead of 12 signs there are actually 13. So here are the 'new' signs:

Capricorn: January 20 - February 16

Aquarius: February 16 - March 11

Pisces: March 11 - April 18

Aries: April 18 - May 13

Taurus: May 13 - June 21

Gemini: June 21- July 20

Cancer: July 20 - August 10

Leo: August 10 - September 16

Virgo: September 16 - October 30

Libra: October 20 - November 23

Scorpio: November 23 - December 17 (or November 29, if you abide by the 13th sign)

(Ophiuchus: November 29 - December 17)

Sagittarius: December 17 - January 20

However astronomers and scientists seem to disagree on whether or not this is true or not so it is really all up to what you want to believe. It supposedly doesn't go into effect for those of us already born, but anyone born after a certain date (what ever the 'official' date that may be (supposedly 2009)) is under the new system.

If these are the 'true' signs that would have been had the earth not been wobbly on its course, the it would actually make sense for me as I have never seemed to have much of a connection with my zodiac, Cancer, and everyone I ever knew who was into astrology and zodiac and all that were pretty sure that I was a Gemini. Did anyone else ever have that happen to them?
